Overview
AnantaHQ ("we", "us", "our") operates IMGTools, a free suite of online image tools available at anantahq.com/img-tools (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the Service and how it is used.
How Images Are Processed
Depending on the tool you use, images are processed either entirely in your browser (client-side) or via our backend server. Tools such as the Barcode Generator and QR Code Generator run entirely client-side — your data never leaves your device. For server-side tools such as image compression, conversion, resizing, and rotation, your files are uploaded over an encrypted HTTPS connection, processed in isolated temporary folders, and deleted immediately after the result is delivered. We do not store, log, or retain any uploaded images beyond the time required to complete the requested operation.
No Account Required
The Service does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for personal information such as your name, email, or phone number to use any tool.
Cookies & Local Storage
We use minimal, functional local storage — for example, to remember your preferred theme (light or dark mode) and recent download history within your browser. This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. Third-party services we rely on, such as advertising providers, may set their own cookies as described below.
Google AdSense & Advertising
The Service displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your browsing activity. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Data Collection

The Service links to other properties within the AnantaHQ ecosystem (such as Dev Tools, PDF Tools, and the Blog) as well as occasional external resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we link to, and we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
