Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AnantaHQ PDF Tools at anantahq.com/pdf-tools (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

The Service provides a suite of free online PDF tools, including merging, splitting, compressing, converting (PDF to images, PDF to Word, PDF to PowerPoint, Word to PDF, PowerPoint to PDF, JPG to PDF), rotating, locking, unlocking, reordering pages, and extracting pages from PDF files. The tools are available for personal and commercial use at no cost.

Use of Free Tools

The Service is provided free of charge. You may use the tools for any lawful purpose, including personal and commercial use. You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt, reverse engineer, or overload the servers, or by using the tools for any unlawful purpose.

File Handling & Disclaimers

Files you upload to the Service are processed on our server and are deleted immediately after the processed result is delivered. We do not store, backup, or retain your files. While we take reasonable measures to secure file transmission and processing, you acknowledge that:

• You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your original files before uploading them for processing.
• We are not liable for any data loss, corruption, or unintended modification that may occur during file processing.
• You should not upload files containing sensitive personal data (such as social security numbers, financial records, or medical information) unless you accept the associated risks.
• Output file quality depends on the input file and the nature of the operation. Conversions between formats may not perfectly preserve all formatting, fonts, or layout elements.

No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output files will meet your specific requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AnantaHQ and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including any loss of data, files, or content processed through the tools.

Your Content

When you upload files for processing, you retain all rights to that content. You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload and process any content you submit to the Service and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

Advertising & Third Parties

The Service displays advertisements from third-party networks, including Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party advertisers or linked sites. See our Privacy Policy for more information about data handling and advertising.

Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
